I don't think cod4 has that capability. Shadowrun is the only game I know of where you can be on either and play on the same servers. It would be cool if they added that in a patch so i wouldn't have to re-level my guy.

I suck! I cannot get more than 5 kills in a row (which I've only done twice!).

I am barely above 1:1 on my kill ratio in current games (I'm WAY below that lifetime).

What are the preferred game types for getting good? I play a lot of domination.

What are the best weapon combinations and methods? I use a dragunov and claymores most of the time. In closer combat levels I use the M160(?) with a scope or the grip.

I checked out everyone's scores and you are all WAY better than me. A 15 kill streak? I wish.

It really is personal preference, whichever your comfortable with is the weapon you should stick to. Meaning you can control the spray and be accurate with the weapon, not whichever gun you think is the coolest. The game is kind of mostly strategic, keeping an eye on where your enemies are firing from, where your teammates are dying, and then flanking your enemies and stealing kills. The perk martyr is also kind of useful in tight maps as when you die you drop grenades everywhere, so if you get close enough you take out your killers and you start with that streak of kills.

15 streak is pretty weak, on PC i've seen 90+. Stupid spawn campers.

My best is 30 something on PC havent gotten the 360 version yet. Might get me and my roommate on it sometime soon. I got assassins creed though and it is sick ......fyi.

90+ nice!! but you can't really compare the accuracy of a optical mouse to that of a xbox controller

as for weapons combos, it really depends on the map and what kind of player you are, are you the one that camps or the one who assaults?

Josh if u want alot of kills...Play Ground War.... also adjust your perks to the weapons you use...obviously....I have done very well with the Carbine/Red Dot scope...Perk 1 - 3 grenades...Perk 2 - Deep Impact...Perk 3 Martydom...

the Carbine is fully automatic and with the deep impact the damage is more...when u die you drop a grenade for those who try to run over ur body they die and you'll have 3 grenades to launch.....u can substitue the 3 grenades for the RPG's to take down those helicopters or blow up a couple of guys in the windows.....:tank:

with that set-up my top kills in a game was 53....have fun...:biggrin:

i use G3 and P90 w/ silencer!my fav game is hardcore search and destroy and hardcore team deathmatch.

Yeah I play Ground War or just Domination.

I use the M160, martyrdom, grip, and something else.

I haven't used the carbine too much. I basically camp at heavy intersections and watch the radar. When a UAV goes off I find the most populated place and start spraying. I'm getting a little better by not shooting so much to stay concealed longer. If I can take someone out with 3-4 shots I do a lot better. In Vacant I just let loose though. There are two positions in that map where I am really lethal.

I've got the gold membership if that helps. It's telling me guests are not allowed but the box says "online multiplayer 2-18".
