anyone know any in brooklyn? the @$$hole tenants downstairs are saying the dog makes too much noise during the day(like hearing their kids screaming and crying at 3am isn't alot of noise!!!) it will probably only be needed for a month(till I kick them out!!!!!!! ) but might be longer if they give me problems

No, I wasn't talking about the spelling:tongue:

The key is that they are your tenants. Did you give them a lease saying that there would be no dog barking? If not, tough for them.

It sounds like whatever you do, they are going to try to threaten you. Raise the rent, if they threaten to report you again, then they are never going to leave. I would suck it up and pay the fine if they report you. Maybe the basement guy can rent the middle floor :)

In the meantime, what about a thick rug with nice fat padding underneath? It might protect both of you from noise.

Tenents suck! I remember when my mother in law had a bad set of tenents. I would have to drive to Staten Island at all hours of the night to settle disputes. The best is when the called the ASPCA because my mother in law leaves her dog out all day in the winter time. The dog is this huge Russian shepard dog. Thank god the officer recognized the breed and told the tenants the dof needed to be outside in the cold and would write a summons if she found out the dog was being kept indoors.
