I think that the entire nation needs to have a "living within your means" campaign.

The sense of entitlement that people have is really distressting. Most of us cannot afford every single want that crosses our path. Honestly, I think that having every little thing we want is bad for our character as well as our pocket book. My favorite movie line is, "It's good to want things Dinky Bossetti."

I have friends that pay enought credit card interest to cover a mortgage.

That would totally stress me out....

Did you know that charging interest on a loan used to be illegal? It is still prohibited by some religions. It would certainly force us all to live within our means.

It all comes down to living within your means.. And sad to say this officer that has a hard enough job just making it home everyday, isn't living within his means...
