i dont think its joes time and reguardless of how bad were doing i dont blame him for our constant struggles.the bats, besides jorge and jeter, have not done anything, not even behind good pitching.there has been a few calls that joe has made that till this day i question, but if i was any better than him i would be coaching myself.i believe that the yanks will pick it up and start mowing down teams.we still dont have a set rotation so not everyone is on the same page.give it some time and joe will once again be looked at as the best coach in all of baseball.well got to get ready for the game at shea.could you believe the daily news poll on how everyone voted jose reyes over jeter:( ,that gotta be some kind of joke.

First I am a big time Mets fan. This is my observation,
DO NOT UNDER ESTIMATE YANKEES!!!!! EVER!!!!

Next 6 games will be the most important games for Yankees I think. If Yankees wins 4 out of 6, I think they can turn around really fast and built from this and have a great chance again. However, if they lose tonight, this will be the longest regular season for Yankees. I really don't think Yankees can lose tonight and win next two. If Yankees wins only 2 out of next 6 games, this will be really tough.

This is what I believe, Yankees will win 4 out of 6 for next 6 games. By end of May, I think Yankee will close the gaps between Boston to 5 games. If this happens, it's a really good chance that Yankees can come back. Clemens is coming back and Yankees is showing some good pitching from their starter. And everyone knows that their batting will come around and this series with help them recover.

As a Mets fan, it's just a pain to see it but Yankees always comes back. Even if they look really helpless this year, but they got so much talents.

However, as far as Joe's position as a Yankees manager, I think this will be his last year unless Yankees wins the Worldseries. And even if I still believe Yankees can make it to the playoff, I really doubt they win it all.

IF and that's a big IF Joe was to be ousted midseason, then the best replacement would be Girardi from the booth. Mattingly is not the best replacement, even if he was the one they chose.

I also agree with Savager. Joe will not be back next year. I think this is his last hoorah. However, I think the problems with the cohesiveness of this years Yankees lies totally with Cashman.

FYI, I am TOTALLY AGAINST Clemens coming to the bombers. He's a 44 going on 45 y/o hasbeen. He never had an ERA better than 3.74 while with the Yankees, when he was FIVE years younger. Why on earth would they thing he would do better now. AND, giving in to all his outlandish demands makes the clubhouse worse than it was with Randy J and Gary Shef. Getting rid of Randy and Shef was addition through subtraction. Signing Clemens is subtraction through addition.

I don't think is Joe Torre fault that the time is not doing well.. What happen to the pitching?? All these injury to the starter.. The only starter that can count on is Chen Ming Wang. I like Mike Mussina & Andy Pettite. And the rest of them is getting old..

I do agreed with Clemens. I don't think he will help Yankees on regular season that much. I think Yankees got him for a desperation and hope he can help in the playoff time. However, does he deserve the highest pay in MLB at his age? How much is he going to get? 27 or 28 million dollars? That's rediculous. Every experts are saying, best Clemens can win this year is about 12 wins, that's like more than 2 millions per win. Is Yankees that desperate? Plus where is Yankees tradition? No name in the back, they are Team, Yankees, not individual player. Yet they let him go home while he is not playing? That's so stupid.

Mattingly should be the one fired. He is a loser and it is a loser organization as long as he is a part of it. They fired their strength and conditioning coach due to injuries, shouldn't they fire their loser hitting coach when all but 3 members of the team are in a "slump"?

Yankees is in big trouble right now. Like I said earlier, for Yankees, this was the must win game but their offense didn't come thru again. One down and I really doubt they can win next two games with rookie pitcher.

im a METS fan.. but in my eyes i dont think Torre is the problem... but theres too much rich egos there now... back in 96,98-00 there were so real hungry good players.. along with paul o neill who was the soul of that team.. this team its like they dont care.. and torre is gonna end up takin the heat for it.. but its 1/5th a season so far. and yankees should never be counted out this early there playin horrible and still only 3 games under .500.. and we all know how the redsox choked last year when they needed to win to beat out the yanks..

well it can only get better, hopefully it does soon.though i love clemens and his kick @$$ attitude,i do believe that he can help the club, but the key to future championships lies with phil hughes, wang.i do like a couple of vets in there and know that this team can give anybody a run for there money even if there 10 behind, cashman has made a few bad mistakes, but can no one on that bench manage this team better than joe, period.oh how about don zimmer! lol J/K.
