Russ, it's just nice to take a trip to America every once in a while. So the York show helps me with 2 things I love to do.
1. Buy/Look at trains.

I would give Trainworld in Bklyn a call. If they don't do repairs I'd bet they would know who could.

R uss, They are good people but not local. To be honest a 2 hour drive to them isn't my most favorite thing to do. A guy in Rockland has had one of my prewar standard gauge locomotives for 3 months and I am still waiting for him to even look at it. Safe to say that when I get it back it better be pristine. Tom's trains in Ardsley won't touch the prewar stuff. Can't say I blame him. This Locomotive has me stumped. There is a place in Midtown that I might try but I would have to make a day of it I guess.
