Looking for a bird?

Where's the best shop to buy a cockatiel or small parrot? Lovebird, etc. Having a hard time tracking one down.

All of the bigger chain stores sell cockatiels ..Petco (ugh), Pet Supplies Plus..Petland...

I would go to Parrots of the World on Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre (not terribly far ride from your place). If you go, let me know, I can meet you over there They have every bird you can imagine.

Parrots of the World is own and run by Marc Morrone. He was on many Martha Stewart shows in the old days.
Definite a great selection there.

If I where ever to get another bird I'd get one as a baby and raise I took in an adopted conure and it didn't work out

For birds only is the best place to go they really take care of their birds ...they also have a small saltwater section
