Actually Pedro you are because you are paying increased prices on the items due to higher shipping rates because of increased fuel costs.

If you are in the city and you feel that a gas station is guilty of price gouging (sp) call 311 and let them know. If they are they will get ined big time.

3.05 I saw on 96 street and 1 ave last nite, 2.95 in yonkers, and payed 2.57 in Hopatcong NJ this past weekend. So the trend is going down Think it will hit 1.12 anytime soon? :lol2:

I just found out why the prices are dropping so much.. They found what they estimate to be 3-15 billion barrels of oil off the gulf of Mexico and when the news hit the stock market...............well you see the prices are dropping.


Also the gas at 329 Post AVe in Westbury, NY is now $2.76

i dont agree. the oil found in the gulf will get to the pumps 4-5 yrs from now.

btw the lower gas prices go the more people are gonna consume. the US needs to look into alternative energy sources.
