Computer Question

This may sound stupid, but i would like to confirm. Which processor would be faster on a P.C. Celeron 2.8GHZ or a P4 2.2GHZ both would fit in the same motherboard socket (478).

P4 is a better CPU. If you are looking into a new processor you need to figure out if the motherboard can take a higher cpu. Look in the manual to fint the largest CPU you can add. Also keep in mind that a new motherboard and CPU combination can be as cheap as buying a retail cpu from a big store. Go to www.pricewatch.com for some good prices, also there is a local computer show check out www.marketpro.com for show info. I get most of my new parts here and there are some great deals.
