Fishing off of NYC?

Yea there is good shore fishing in Jamacia Bay/ Long beach. Been catching nothing but stripers right after the other but they are still way to small 20"-25". Catching them off clams, the bluefish are starting to come out as well caught a few in bay park (around Hewlett) They are bittin on bunkers no sign of the fluke yet. But there are still a lot of damn skate everywhere

Thanks to the weather I've had to cancel my plans for fishing today. Hopefully Sunday will be nicer.

Finally got out on the water on Thursday. We took the Sea Queen, out for Stripers. It was a slow nite - 3 keepers. I had one half an inch short and my brother had one of the keepers. It was his first time fishing! The day before was a great one, supposedly. I would go again on that boat, if I want stripers, because the crew was a great bunch.
