So I've been living without a tv or stereo since moving and figured its time to remedy that. So after a good three months of research - overkill maybe yes - I settled on a tv ( Panasonic VIERA TC-P50GT30 50-Inch 1080p 3D Plasma HDTV ). Now I'm looking for a sound system to match. I want it to listen to music as much as for the surround. The room is fairly small - about 12x15'. I can't decide between getting a HTIB or a component receiver and separate Blu-ray player and speakers. I do want it t be able to 3D since the tv is 3D ( wasnt particulary in the market for 3d as its been unimpressive so far but it just happened to work out that way in the end). I also want it to have wireless networking and DLNA compatiblity for streaming from my computer. Not so sure about any other features. My main issue with the component option, besides the added cost, is having to then pick speakers - I'm clueless about speakers. The HTIB that I've looked at so far all seem to have mediocore sound quality. I prefer to spend no more than $600 altogether and less is better if it wont sacrifice much in quality. Any advice?
