My turn....

Well how should I begin?
I graduated from Parsons School of Design in 93.
It took 5.5 years to get my BFA in design, had to work a full time job.
Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine myself working in the cosmetic design field.

In 02 my wife and I vacationed in Hawaii, the Big Island and we were instantly smitten by the awe and beauty of the people, the culture, the landscape and just about everything. See attached picture of this beautiful sea turtle.

My hobbies include photography (anybody need digital retouching done?), anything computer related Mac and PC, anything Adobe software has to offer, online surfing 24/7, remote control models.

...also, while I had my own dot com, i did motivational speaking in colleges to think outside the noRm. like Reefer420 mentioned, it's difficult to find people with an entrpreneurial spirit, everyone, or most, simply want to follow the norm... day in/out of a company waiting for a paycheck. I encouraged and sometimes, funded students who wanted to set up their own ventures :)

I also did charity work helping street kids with housing and stuff. That was rewarding and we had a lot of fun doing that. :)

In dental school currently and will graduate in about 3 more years. Addicted to MR, my tank, and love cars. Into drifting (trying to learn), racing, and all sorts of motorsports.

drifiting is basically breaking traction (ex. e-brake) on your car (usually rear wheel drive cars) in order to power slide your car in whatever direction u want. It's pretty cool if you are into cars. Trying to learn with my nissan 350z but cant really afford tires. Im saving up for a 240sx with engine swap....better balance and better car for drifitng.

alright, what is drifting? (do i want to know?)

if you like driving fast in really small circles drifting is for you ;)

I've seen the pros in Japan do it, they make it look easy, but you better have a good budget for tires, they get worn out quick.

I'm a little late with this thread I guess it was popular before I really got into MR

Most know that I'm a retired NYC POlice Officer I spent the last 15 years of my career assigned to the SCUBA team ( AKA NYPDFrogman.. get it? LOL)
I have s sons 6 &14 and a 23 year old step son.

Scuba diving used to be a hobby till it became work, now prohibiied from diving due to heath reasons. By trade I was an automotive transmission rebuilder.
I have several hobbies besides my reef addition.
I own 3 vintage muscle cars
1970 Plymouth Road runner
1973 Dodge challenger
1969 sport sattelite convertible ( currently being restored)

I've been coaching Travel youth ice hockey for years
I collect Vintage drum sets and enjoy playing the drums

my wife cant keep up with all the stuff I do!
