Looking for new places to try seems I always go same places!
Open to all suggestions
Few my favorite places near me

Ivy cottage -wilston park
Fork and vine- sea cliff
Tesoro - westbury
River bay wilston park
La nonna bella garden city

Wanna try Good Indian restaurant and can't find good Mexican

There's Besito in Roslyn and one out here in Huntington Village. Actually a bunch of really good places in the village. Besito also has some pretty sick tequila mojitos.

Riverbay is great .Agi 53 for sushi in bayshore .or nisen in woodbury .this food I like bkny in flushing .mamas in coipage is great Italian .city cellar is pretty good

For sushi I usually go too sushi yah in garden city also river has the best spicy tuna tool I've ever had

Besito was not bad but I don't wanna pay an arm and a leg for Mexican I used to get much better food from a median place called flamingo grill for 1/3 the price but they closed

Totally agree Matt besitio was ok Def not work there prices .the best sushi i ever ate was nissen in woodbury kinda expensive but Def very good its worth the money plus its a cool trendy place

Nissen is alright there are way better sushi places around here and in Westchester (Toyo/ Red Plum in Mamaroneck one of the guys from Nobu opened it and it's awesome). Pancho's in Huntington Village is good mexican and less expensive than Besito but they don't really serve the same stuff. Never been to Besito in Roslyn but the 0ne out here is really good.

Went to fork and vine last night and had one of the top 10 meals of my life fried oysters with seaweed salad and remulode and Philly cheesesteak spring rolls for app then ny strip with wasabi mashed for dinner my wife had a grilled veal chop topped with crabmeat and hollandaise sauce
Washed it down with a great pinot noir called vinum from California
It was great anyone looking for nice place to take their wife or other this place is one of the best restaurants ive ever been too

I eat apps at the bar once it's a cool place and has good happy hour never had dinner there it's actually a 5 min walk from my house

Chem Chef is in Westbury which is the area you are asking about. If you find out where he is I would try it. Looking at him makes me think he eats well.

In Carle Place there is West End Cafe. Its in the same place that AA used to be.
Havent eaten there in a while but it was great every time I went.

There are a few excellent restaurants that I would highly recommend:

For Chinese/Japanese: Pearl East in Manhasset
For Mediterranean: Limani in Roslyn
For Greek: MP Taverna in Roslyn
For Italian: Il Toscano in Douglaston
For Pub Food: Barefoot Peddler in Glen Cove
For Pizza: Pirandello's in Roslyn Heights
For Spanish: Besito in Roslyn (Because this is the ONLY Spanish restaurant in the area)
For Steak: Peter Luger in Great Neck or Bryant Cooper in Roslyn
