if you do it, just cut teeth into it. don't be a dork like me and think that despire thousands of reefers having the same experience, mine would be different

cut some teeth in or put in a mesh/grate, and you'll be good to go.

Hey, ya know i filled up my nanocube gallon by gallon and it was only about 9 gallons. I did this totally empty without any lr/ls. I probally could have squeezed 1 more gallon to the tippy top to make total max 10 gal.. Any more than this and it would have been overflowing. what gives?

This was suppose to be 12 gal.. did anyone else try this or figure this out as well.

Omg yeah. This thread rears its head every so often. What I gather is this:

1. Yes it's inaccurate.
2. Other aquariums differ in volume from what's advertised too.

Personally, I'd like them all to clean up their act. Or else I'm going to start selling shot glasses as 5,000 super reef tanks for $100,000 each.
