Our 72 has 4 vho, with great results. Frogspawn,torch, brain, leathers, bubbletip, all are showing great growth. 1at 1day 2 50/50.

The new water should sit at least 24 hrs. before mixing into your tank (it will be completely dissolved and stirred by this time). Are your nitrates high? Seems like a lot of water changing out (imo) I change out 7 gallons every other week in my 72 gallon reef. If it is working for you...

If you see a quick fix solution(product) in a lfs, go to a BB and question everyone to see how it really works. Dont forget these BB's have great search engines!!

I'd add more lr to a larger tank...be sure it is already cured and add a little at a time. Be sure if you did go bow front, your lighting would fit on it. We have 72 gall bow and LOVE IT! Would go bigger if I had more room. (You'll never wish you had a smaller tank).

Only if he wants to! MY clown (tank raised) takes to everything, but it takes 2 weeks or so before he is comfortable to go near it. You'll see him dash near it or through it then shake like crazy, building up his skin protection if he decides to.

We just got lr in. Hidden, was a 1"diameter white/brown spots crab. Flat, small pinchers. Is he going to be reef ready?? Also a worm like creature that looked like a fat juicy earthworm. Saw head only sticking out. Cycling w/these rocks anyway, but any ideas would be nice!!!

I'd take it in to a lfs and make sure your calicum test is accurate. I've read a lot that they can be incorrect. (Be sure test isn't over a year old). Hopefully someone else can help you out.

I have 125# in my 72 and will be getting about 80# in my 55. I think it will save you time a frustration to get the lr to help nature out a bit in your tank. Dsb would be good idea too.
