I have a 57 gallon deep blue edge series tank with center overflow. Its cycling water. My problem is I can't get the water level less than 4" of the top. Its runing super quiet and nice but the more water I put in it levels off at 4" and the water winds up in my sump.I'm it bit puzzled by this...

Thats just the way this hobby is .I guess is our little creation in which we keep on creating(better,bigger,faster)etc.We are always looking for ways to make our creation better.

They usually split depending on water conditions(it feels like when its not supper clean water )I usually get about 3-4 in less then a year which I trade for suplies at local fish store.
