I'm setting up a new 57 gallon tank.I've used Carib sea "sand"-even though it looks coarse I think is crush coral-with great success.
I'm contemplating on going withj fiji pink.I would like to find out what has been the experience of users of fiji pink, and if they would have done anything different.Thanks.

I agree with the above on the crushed coral. However, if you have a high flow tank or fish that burrow in the sand, the Fiji Pink can get into the water column easier than a larger grain.

For me, the only sand I use is the Seafloor Special Grade. It's a bit larger than the normal sugar sized sand, but not nearly large enough to become a nitrate factory like the crushed coral is.
