    Thanks guys I guess it was accurate I just thought it was giving me reading to low to be true I think I will still test it against a regular Ph test kit to confirm readings.

    I think that you should go for the dual MH system I tried using a single high wattage bulb(400w on a 55G) on my tank and was never happy with the spread. I finally upgraded to dual HQI and have been happy since.

  15. help! pulsing xenia growing like crazy

    I have a ton of xenia I frag all the time. I personally like to put rocks right next to or even on top (depending onlocation etc.) and let it spread naturaly and break or slice them apart. I haven't had good luck trying to attach slimy pieces of xenia to rocks manually.
