When dosing Kalk, can this be done? 1) Mix the Kalk in a big container and let it sit for several hours. 2) Pour the part w/o the kalk residue from the bottom into another container. 3) Drip into sump. Or do I have to leave the kalk residue in the same container when dripping?

No. Still curious about that. All my other fish are doing fine. I just got the CB for only 2 days.

I think I've found the culprit. My banded coral shrimp were chasing and trying to attack my second cleaner shrimp last nite, and this morning my second cleaner shrimp was dead. Thank you all for the replies.

Hi! I'm a newbie to SW. I just started dosing kalkwasser one drop per second as recomended. This morning I found one of my cleaner shrimp and a copperband butterfly dead. Are these deaths related to the dosing? Any suggestions or thoughts are greatly appreciated.
