Agree with JonnyJ. I have an fx5 running on a 90gal reef. never an issue with water perameters as long as you maintenance your tank accordingly

MP is the way to go i have a 90gal myself and i experienced a major change in sps growth. Also ZERO dead spots and fish love it. Im running 2 mp40s on it. If u run only 1 on a 90gal 4foot long tank you will notice the mp at max power only covers 3/4 of the tank with undertow. Running 2 also...
