Its a very hard to keep fish its one of those fish that should be left in the ocean :) If the fish is eating then it might make it for some time your best bet is seaweed soaked in garlic let it fight the ich on its own plus throw a cleaner shrimp in there to help pick the ich of the fish.

Guys I'm not looking to turn this into a "how big is your tank" and all that bullsh*t thread. I'm not asking for your opinions on what's the proper home for a fish. If we're going to get into that the reality is that all fish should be left in the ocean, period.

I'm asking if someone on here would be kind enough to QT this fish for me, if that's not you I'm not interested in your comments about the appropriate tank size. Thanks.

Right now I have it in a bucket with a heater and a small pump.

But yes Chief, I had it in a plastic container (1' 8" x 1' 8") with some holes floating on top of th DT, why?

Duke like I said I'm not interested in your bullsh*t right now.

The fact that I sold a hippo cause it was too large for my system should tell you that I have enough sense not to keep a big fish in a small tank and to be conscienscious about the space the fish I keep need. If you were smart enough you could have put 2 and 2 together and realized you didn't have to post your nonsense. Maybe you could have avoided my "tantrum" as well.

Oh, and btw, if you were gonna offer your "20 gallon" I'm sure its something you would of done initially, instead of getting into the other b.s. take a look at knugenx's post, he was kind enough to offer his equiptment without any of the added b.s. you've presented. Maybe you can learn something from him.

Again guys this is a request for help, if you cannot offer the help please keep your comments to yourself. Thank you.

Closetfishgeek, thanks for the offer, it's much appreciated.

With the amount of nice people that I've bumped into on here, I figured there would be some wanna-be-know-it-all jerkoffs i'd bump into on here eventually. Yeah I'm refering to you duke82 and scolyboy. You dumb asses turned a "fish help" thread into an argument over bullshit, which I was trying to avoid.

Bottom line is that I received a fish in the mail that had ick and I was looking to see if someone would help with a quarantine. Apparently that's too complex for some people to understand and possibly too dificult for the mods to keep under control. Thanks anyway MR.

ok im the dumb ass.im not the one keeping a already hard to keep fish that needs proper care to survive in a 75 gallon tank.im not the 1 who posted a f/s thread sealing a hippo tang that is to big for his 75 gallon then buys a more expensive fish that needs more room..im not the 1 who is so smart that when someone is trying to help and tell them proper care for a fragile fish gets yelled at like a baby looking for a binky to calm him down.i wasnt looking for trouble and was just trying to inform you of the situation.im a guy who helps people.all that drama is for young minds who think they are being attacked when people show them the errors of there way.you dont want to like me because of the facts fine.i still like you even though you called me every name in the book..here is a helpful article to show you what a know it all i am
