DI resin gives the water a foul taste. The ro water it produces is fine to drink just not with the di resin in.

I have used ETS reefdevils and aqua c's on my previous tanks. but with my new 180 I was given a kent natulius EX to try and i Love it has been the skimmer that has produced the most out of all the skimmers I have used. Im running it with and Iwaki 40 rlt.

Don't no if this will help but it may Little Giant 4mdq-sc is rate I think around 900 gph and is 1" in and 1/2" out. It iwll run your manifold no problem. Hope it helps.

Glass and tempered glassfilter the same amount of UV rays out.. Either will work for HQI. THe only diffrence is tempered glass is much stronger and will handle more heat.
