Got two weeks ago.He/She is not touching the food I give.Eats off the rocks and tank walls well and looks great so far but I know it`s not going to survive on that.Trying to feed flake and seaweed sheets.Any suggestions?Really cool fish.Alone in a 125g.TKS

Anyone having trouble with this ballast? Mine kept shorting out at the switch.I took it apart and found that when the face with the switch is in place the prongs on the back of the switch impenge on the ballast inside and it bends the prongs.I bypassed the switch and it works ok now,still irks...

I Go to a local pharmacy and buy insulin needles.I use pliers to pull the needle out and it leaves a nice opening to kalk bomb them with.I`ve not been able to get a large enough bore needle to inject kalk into them,I just lay a big gob on them and they melt away. Luck.

Try adjusting the rubber ring on the bottom of the collection cup so that the cup rides higher.Mine can fill up pretty quick if they`re set too low.Good luck. Pat

Watch the temp on the tank also.I ended up hanging my MH lights 14 inches above the water because they drove the temp up too high.

You either have an overflow that hangs on the tank or you drill the tank.I have a hob overflow to my sump then pump the water back to the tank.If you do it right there`s not much there to screw up.You have to keep the level in the sump low enough so that if you lose power it won`t overflow onto...

I run with LR in both.I don`t have a sand bed and I think it helps.

When I clean I have to be very careful not to hit the seams much because it`s breaking off in small chips.Seems it was never this brittle before.I suppose this is normal at some time in the life of a tank? Any body got any cleaning tricks for the corners?
