Anyone having trouble with this ballast? Mine kept shorting out at the switch.I took it apart and found that when the face with the switch is in place the prongs on the back of the switch impenge on the ballast inside and it bends the prongs.I bypassed the switch and it works ok now,still irks me that it was designed so poorly though.

I had a bluewave that worked for years. It might actually be a defect and I'm sure they'd repair it at no charge (not sure about shipping costs to them, however). I'd still contact them to see if they can resolve it for you.

Ask them to see if the switch can be replaced. Should be an easy job, and if I own the company, I would send the switch out to you without charge.
