well,,, I have had my skimmer running for more than 7 years without cleanning the pump... I might get up and clean it with white vinigar right away... :lol:

actually I don't have the sciantific name of the anemone,,, but it's diffenetly a sand anemone...

the approch of testing the tank with a star fish was done by my friend and... I didn't recomment it... as I told im to buy the copper test.. but he didn't want to wait till the arrival of the test :wink: ...

there is a safe way that you could do to remove all of the Copper residual from your tank by using a product called Easy-Life... it is a great product we have tried it in a friend's hospital tank... and it removed the copper completly in less than one day... we even tested the tank the next day...

actually the weather these days is just perfect... cause it is spring time in kuwait... :wink:
