It looks like a hybrid to me. From the looks of it, I would say it's a Queen Trigger Starry Trigger Hybrid, Balistes vetula*Abalistes stellatus. That's my opinion.

The latin name is "Balistes Punctatus" They are a rarely collected trigger from west africa. From what i was told last time they were imported was 10 years ago. He is the new prize on my collection

Wow, that is just amazing. I'm guessing any fish from that area will cost a fortune? How did you obtain it? How much was it? Any other pictures of fish you have?

Well thank u for the welcome i relay like this place. Yes fish from that area cost a good amount of money. I be leave even the gem tang comes's from the same area. He came from a friend of mine that is a wholesaler in LA. The fish cost me $330 landed. I have a few other rare fish in my collection on is my dolphin shark (a spices of tile fish) and a mappa puffer.
