I don't think anyone would propose exposing their animals to the chemicals listed. The issue is, once cured, does Plasti-Dip leach these chemicals into sea water. Many materials use "toxic" material but are safe once cured (epoxy is one example). I thought I had some information on this...

It seems that you can modify some fixtures to hold the 150W DE MH bulbs. You still have to get a compatible ballast. After spending hours trying to get a handle on the details, I understand why most people will go with a retro kit. The information out there is so incomplete that it is hard...

I don't know :? ... I have CSL 32 watt 50/50 on my(ok, my wife's) 6 gal. I noticed a similar drop in coloration. My are on the bottom of the tank (~12" down). Yet, the green stars are bigger than they were. Could it be some lose their color as they grown bigger and spread??
