In my FO, I have a mild mannered 4in clown trigger, Picasso trigger, Harlequin wrasse and mid sized v. lion. Will they be ok with a Snowflake eel and vice versa?
All other data so far says yes, but I wanted opinions before I decided on getting one.
I saw a burr fish (AKA Spiny Box Puffer) last night at the hidden reef in Philadelpiha. I have a 150 gallon tank with a lion, harlequin tusk, picasso and (mild mannered) clown trigger. I asked the store attendant about this fish and he told me that burr fish are meak and wouldn't be able to live...
people who have arthritis wear copper braclets and such. The copper seeps into your skin and allows release from the pain of arthitis. Knowing that copper can readily bsorb into your skin worries me a little when I need to handle it. I would hate to know that it can release from my hands into my...
ever since I learned how copper can take to your skin, I don't even like to look at the stuff. I think it's great that it helps people with arthritis, but I don't want it anywhere near my tanks.
Sounds like they're doing fine. I run alot of like in my tank and they still extend. If you want to have them spred you can add iodine or feed them directly. Otherwise, just leave them be, they're tough beasts.
all good ideas!
I've tried the baited net and a baited picture so far with no luck, but I'm going to try some of these other ideas.
Man, people who think fish are stupid, really don't know fish.
I think i'll try the net thing first. I have to catch a Harliquin wrasse that I have in my reef. He's a great fish and gets along with everything, but he was intended for my 150g FO. Originally he was too small but I think he will be strong enough now.
have any of you had success in keeping a rock Angel (holacanthus tricolor)? They're pretty, inexpensive, and relatively small (8in)but are portrayed as finicky eaters.
And can sponge be something easily obtained to feed their adult diet?
I actually have to watch my harly wrasse to make sure he doesn't eat me green serpent.
But ditto on the target feedings. He always comes out to eat and never bothers the other shrimp or fish.
