It's me again with another polyp question. By the way, if anybody knows some good polyp info sites, let me know.

Anyway, once my polyps opened, they been doing really well (I think). Now they're like three times the length they were originally, and about twice as thick. Is it normal for them to grow so fast? Maybe they just look really big in my little nano reef. I just want to make sure they're not getting tall because they need something like more light, etc. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your help.

Sounds like they're doing fine. I run alot of like in my tank and they still extend. If you want to have them spred you can add iodine or feed them directly. Otherwise, just leave them be, they're tough beasts.

I have been feeding the polyps (green button) trace elements, including iodine, and baby brine shrimp. Obviously I don't know that much about them, I've just been doing what I've been told. I'm surprised they're growing so quickly. They have already started propagating. Makes me encouraged to get something a little more lively looking, like some sun polyps. I was just afraid that since they're getting so tall maybe they were looking for something.

Thanks for the info!
