ever since I learned how copper can take to your skin, I don't even like to look at the stuff. I think it's great that it helps people with arthritis, but I don't want it anywhere near my tanks.
people who have arthritis wear copper braclets and such. The copper seeps into your skin and allows release from the pain of arthitis. Knowing that copper can readily bsorb into your skin worries me a little when I need to handle it. I would hate to know that it can release from my hands into my tanks, such that soap and oil can. I just always think twice now before handling any copper tubing. It's nothing I'm overly concerned with, I just think its funny.

I know what you mean. Every time I see something made of copper, my first thought is- KEEP IT THE HELL AWAY FROM MY TANK!!
