I use a DIY one on a Cadlight 50 gal.

Here is a picture of my tank as of today, after several month of an upgrade from a smaller tank.



Do you want pictures of the scrubber? I may have to dig for those.

I use one on my 215 gal DT (330 gal total system volume). The algae turf scrubber was easy to make per the DIY thread listed on RC. I have it running over my 40 gal refugium. Only thing is that it is in competition with my macro algae so I don't get much chaeto growth.

Getting cyanobacteria and po4 and nitrates are low I think because it's eating it up

So did you ever have cyanobacteria and if you did , did the scrubber help rid of them

In my previous tank smaller tank where I had the scrubber, I did get cynao. It eventually went away, but I helped it along by siphoning out what I could. Afterward, I got bryosis, hair algae and bubble algae and they came over to my current tank, but slowly they are going away too.
