And they suck big time. You can tell they suck from a mile away. Actually they suck beyond suck. Who buys that **** anyway. I would rather wear an old calculator watch and walk with a Duane Reade bag.:supermad:DirtySouth056 said:whats the canal street special?
cali_reef said:Herman, How about a PP shell with a Rolex movement? I am going to order an aquabee for the chinese acrylic tube.
After reading this by Herman I changed my airvalue on my DAS to the 1 o clock position, it was fully open before. I have been running it that way ignorantly ever since I got my DAS skimmer (like I said before I am retarded when it comes to the hardware of a reef tank). Anyway, what a difference, the bubbles became much more intense and extremely tiny (and I thought they were small before). It seems to be producing even more skimmate than it did previously, something I didn't think possible.herman said:All DAS like the deltecs work most efficiently with the airvalve positioned at the 1 o clock position. Fully open the each pump sucks 10 liters per minute resulting in slightly larger bubbles in the neck due to the turbulence and collision. With the airvalve slightly closed it produces just the right size.

they ran this thing againest the aquabee2000 in europe, and they said same performance in air and water output. It just came to america on a skimmer called biostar. Check your local aquamedic dealer.cali_reef said:Where can I get one cheap to try?
