Has anyone see an anemone this color? Purplish with green tips! If you can tell me what kind of anemone is this. Also it just split today. Here is a couple of pics of the mother before it splitted today. Appreciate your response.
Thank you.

Based on it's looks and the fact it has a pair of Maroon Clowns hosting in it, my guess would be a green E. quadricolor. Maroon Clowns only host in a few species and the one candidate that looks most like the one in your photo is E. quadricolor. It could be an LTA, but that species is not a natural host for Maroon's. If it's an LTA it would have white stripes radiating from the mouth (hard to tell in the photo).

I totally agree with Eric. And by the way, my GS Maroon hosted everything in my tank including the RBTA which has white stripes radiating from it's mouth.

Johnny, now I'm not to certain that it is an LTA. I had purchased one just like it at an lfs in my earlier years they had it labeled as a "Green Corn Bubble Tip Anemone", it also split into several babies.

The so called green corn BTA is nothing more than a green variation of the Quadricolor.
The tentacles look too long to be a bubbletip (but I could be wrong).
The pic above is what my LTA looked like when a clown aggravated it,
also when it closed in on itself.
I'll post this anemone link again as it's well worth the read (lots of pictures near the middle to end).http://www.carlosreef.com/AnemoneFAQ.pdf
and this link is a good read as well:

Here is a pic I found on the web of a
green tip LTA

and here is one of the so called green corn BTA
