Flatworms on torch

Can someone identify these flatworms on my torch. How can I treat that? I'm Dipping my torches in coral rx and brushing the base with a tooth brush. Can someone identify it please and best treatment. Thank you

4 or 5 days for a few weeks? Should I dip just the one I found it on. Or should I just make it a routine and dip all of my torches, hammers, and frogspawn. All in one shot every 5 days for a few weeks?

Watch for dipping them too long.

I dipped all my euphyllia every few days.

They fall off pretty quickly once in fresh water.

OMG i just avoided this disaster constantly check for eggs on the corals they tend to eat the skin of the torch at like the neck of the skeleton. I scraped them off with an excto knife.

i had flat worms on my new LPS, didn't ID the species, so I started looking up ultra reef safe wrasses, and found the pink stripe, possum and yellow cories wrasses to be suitable for biological control. While I was searching for fish locally in stores, turns out my dragonettes took care of them, within a few weeks. I have a pair of both spotted dragonettes and scooter blennies with them, not sure which species ate them. (my mandarin pair is in the main display, but I think they will eat them also). The initial problem I had, was the dragonettes would eat all the flatworms off rocks and dirty glass, but they wouldn't go over the LPS head. Well given time, they did.

That’s not a bad thing. Sounds like you caught them in time. Was there a recent addition of a new torch, hammer or frogspawn?

Honestly I just started restocking this tank. So everything is less than 3 months old. The newest torch was the one that had the flatworms on it. Banana torch I got from farmers frag market.

Been dipping ever 6 days and haven't seen anything since that first time. Is this normal? Or possible? Im never this lucky

These seem to be much more prevalent in recent months.

I don't know of a specific cure for them, but a melanurus wrasse is your best defense against random flatworms. They are great reef fish in general.
