Dry goods group buy?

I need to order some dry goods immediately. Is anyone interested in getting a group purchase together?

I'm going to order from Marine Depot.

They are offering the following special prices:

For orders over $250 and placed over the internet, there is a 5% discount.

For orders over $1000 and placed over the internet, there is an 8.5% discount.

I have about $100 worth of stuff. The savings aren't much, but people were talking about a group buy anyhow....

Also:
For an annual total purchase of over $24,000 there is a club donation of $1200.
For an annual total purchase of over $12,000 there is a club donation of $500.
For an annual total purchase of over $6,000 there is a club donation of $200.
For an annual total purchase of over $3,000 there is a club donation of $50.

i need 2 175 watt bulbs myself i want 14000K's which marine depot doesnt have. Maybe we can get another group buy together for bulbs or something

I've been thinking, does anyone know where we can buy a huge shipment of IO salt? Like 20 buckets or more and then take like 2 or 3 buckets each. This would save us a lot. I'm gonna ask around and see if I can get a deal with a supplier. Also, RODI replacement cartridges.

For the RO/DI replacements, I would consider using aquaticreefsystems.com - I got my stuff from them and they have been awesome with helping and prices. I bought my 4 stages unit for less than 200 bucks.

Anyway, I would ask Brian or John and see what they can come up with.
