Just looking for a car to drive around town. Econmical 4 door must be automatic w/ air condition. Cheap! But nice condition! I just bought a new 2011 Nissan Rogue, so I don't have much money for a second car!

good luck with the economical anything 4 cylinder people are holding to with the jaws of life lol gas up by me hit like 410 regular and the cities gotta be another 20 or 30 cents i have a friend that buys cars from the dealer auctions charges for u to go there and buy a car but u beat out the middle man lmk its up in north jersey

Ouch $410 I work in Mt. Olive the gas is $3.77 and I know its not going to last long...soon it will be $5...right now spending $20 a day on gas.

Theres a few auction houses near me in Teterboro. They actually had a really nice 98 328is convertible 5 speed there the other day. I shouldve hopped on it, its a nice car.

Last time I went to an auction I drove out with a 1999 328i BMW...LOL was a great car, but when it was time to service parts was expensive. Thanks for the input, trying to see if I can find a 1-owner car. I don't care if its a high mileage as long its from highway. Automatic is a preference, since my wife does not drive manual transmission.

There are deals to be had at auctions but you really have to look at the history of the car alot of the auctioned cars are previous wrecks or rentals that have been highly abused. I'd keep an eye out for a private sale but you'll want to request a history report for obvious reasons. If I hear about anything I'll pm you, I used to be a member of a local car club so some deals do pop up from time to time.

Gas is out of control my buddy in Fla. told me gas is 4.30 over there that was a week ago it's prob more now. Gas in Queens and LI is anywhere from 4.10-4.20. They sell that E85 which is more ethanol and under 4 but it obviously doesn't last as long and only certain cars can use it. BLAH I hate this country lol

What's your range in terms of age? Parent's will be getting rid of a 96 Lexus ES300 after we give them our car in a month or so. Don't have all the current details, but it's technically 1 owner since it was mine and then gave to them. Coach edition, fairly good condition but some scratches on the side and bumpers. Car runs but may need some work i'm sure being over 110k miles.

EEUU (Europe) pays 1.25 - 1.50 Euros per liter (1 US gallon = 3.785 liters), where do you get 9 Euros per gallon? It's ever so slightly more than the US now but give it a few months I'm sure we'll catch up. :/
