hahaha, helping out requires 0 knowledge of reefs. You may learn something, but if you can help carry water, tanks, coolers and boxes around you will be just fine. Check with Kris (nanoreefer) about if we need the help the night before.

yeah +1 kris, the manpower at the end of the swap is really helpful, i know everyone wants to take their new frags home but please, if you can make it, come help out. the more people that make it out the faster it goes. when no one signs up it makes it pretty tough for everyone who does stay. trust me i want to take my frags home asap too but I stay and help out because I appreciate the swap and all the people who make it happen. it looks like it is easy to the person who goes , pays their 25$, gets some frags and bounces; but the setup, vendor logistics, overall planning takes months in advance and the whole weekend for lots of folks. it is really a labor of love that is worth every second in my opinion.

Hey Kris,

I have been looking forward to the swap for months (first question everyone in the community tends to ask - "have you been to a swap yet?" ), but the timing just doesn't work out as I need to be at the office all weekend...

Any chance I could come volunteer in the evening despite not being signed up? It'd be great to see the venue and meet you all, even if I miss the actual event this season.

I'd definitely be in for the setup, Sat night, and I could probably come Sunday to help clean up as well (depending on the team's pace throughout the weekend, I might have a late night on Sunday).

Manhattan Aquariums is bring the water and ESV is supplying the salt. We'll mix it tonight.
