this may be a shot the only thing you didnt try was Ozone.
maybe you should set up a QT tank with a small Ozone genrator?

good luck

if you decide to do so I'll design a small O3 and carbon reactor combo for you
thx Frank ,I ll have to see.I really dont know when it is going to be safe to put zoos back in my tank ,now I just going to seel most of my livestock and rethink what im going to do with my main tank :banghead:

Unfortunily as easy as zoo's can be to grow they can be just as hard to keep alive. A lot of times they come down with fungus, closing up from sand or just start to melt away for no reason. Your tank come be fine and this could happen as all it takes is one bad colony and either hermits or snails to spread the problem around to the other zoo's.

What about similar types of organisms like button and star polyps?
nope just zoos ,seem like its not hitting anything in paly type polyps ,buttons ,even my pink palys are fine ,my ppes are fine ,they are stuck to rock ,and others are doing well too ,its weird this thing ,Im going to contact New enland aquariums tomorrow to see if i can find some to help with this thing>I want to know ,have to know ,I love this type of corals and has to be a solution ,Has to be! ,to every problem ther is a solution.look at Magic J he has aids HIV ,and he still looking great after 10 years I believe is that long ,but something is letting himlive a good and healthy life where other are not .So i believe that there has to be a way to stop this lesion in a qt tank

update

After getting out all my infected zoos ,WC ,and adding poly filter ,things are starting to look up in my main tank.
Now it time to rearrange my tank.Learned a great lesson hear ,I have no clue what ,but im goin gto start of a 20 gal just for zoos.gonna do one more 20 WC this week and weekend just to be on the safe side.
thx guys for the help ,now its time to hunt for more zoos to put in my 20 gal ,anyone that has a frag of anything.i will pay ,but i dont have much after this loss :banghead: so if you can frag off a 3 poylp frag that would be fine ,I Like to see them grow over the rocks ,kinda what i got into the hobby for.so hoping in 2 weeks or so ill have this running.

YEs sir ,My tank is zoo pox free

This is the way to fix the prob ,the only way

I took all the infected zoos out of my tank ,did a 40% water change and left my tank alone for a month .now i dont put green zoos in my tank ,as they are the ones the get hit the hardest ,if i do see any zoos that have them ,out they go .So far so good knock on wood

Dips ,meds and all that other crap just stress them out more ,the mor ei dipped or whatever the more it was infected .one thing if you look at the last few pages on RC ,ppl have ben having an out break of snails Astreas* in the tank when the prob was over ,i have that prob now ,snail all over the freaking place ,good i geuss ,coincident thou

as for zoa's....nope didnt get any wild frags, all my frags are members

As for livestock in general, I got gorgonia from group buy but dipped all of them before putting them in....I'm not sure that they could cause this. :( So no, I didnt QT anything....

What do you mean u left ur tank alone? No putting your hands in or what?

no putting any livestock ,I really cant say what the cause is ,i wish i could
I know the only thing that stopped it from spreading was taking out the infected zoo.water change .one thing i didnt try is cowry snails or money snail ,some ppl say they eat the infection ,but that just a saying

Best of luck to you Ronen. It seems like you have it under control.
100% ,Ive read all the post on RC ,zoa id and bla bla bla ,,LOL

Only way to rid of it is trash the colony or QT all of them and see what happens ,i went the easy way ,lol but affective :usa1:
It sux that that is the only way i see it working ,all the dips ,meds just stress the hel out of the zoos not to mention me

Hope we can fine the cause ,that is the solution :usa1:
