My Zoos are dying ,,White dots taking over

:banghead: well this thing ,cancer ,plague whatever it is ,took over my tank ,im gonna take and cut off ever zoo colony i have and restart my tank ,Now i freaking upset,Im off to the store to buy some thing to experiment on these infected zoos ,i have lots to play with and really pissed off ,so im trying every freaking med in the store ,fugus spray eveything ,, :banghead:

I have to get this as a perscription ,gonna talk to a friend you is a doctor for it tomorrow morning ,going to set up a 10gal qt tank for all my zoos ,and do a 50% water change this weekend

Im going to my friend in a sec to pick tetracycline im crossing my fingers ,geting a 10gal QT tank and putting in my sick friends.But againa when do i know its safe to put back my zoos :banghead:

Good luck with that! Are you going to do Tetracycline dips with FW or just add a tablet to the water of the QT? The reason I ask is because it will kill all the bacteria in the tank.

dips ,not going to putit in the QT tank ,not a good idea ,got the tetracycline ,about 15 pills 500mg hope it works ,im off to work will doit at 5 pm wish my zoos a fast recovery

Good Luck with the tetracycline dips.
Hopefully the bug is a bacteria and not a fungus or parasite. If this bug affecting your zoos is not a bacterium, the tetracycline won't work because it's effective only against bacteria. I hope it works

dont laugh ,I used athletes foot spray ,"liquid spray"on one of the colonies ,I think it cleared it up ,not for nothing ,zoos are still in tact

Tetracycline ,did that as well ,ill do this for a few day and see what happens

have to do what i have to do ,if ppl used tetracycline ,the i deff can try foot spray ,after al lit could only help ,the zoos are on the way out in the trash so why not
also have the zoos in a QT with fresh water out of the selling tanks,change the 100% of the water everyday if not2ce a day

Well <Im giving up on the zoos ,this freaking thing is not going away,putting an end the the lives of my zoos. Althou I will never know when its a good time to put zoos back in my tank.I just may do a 20gal just for zoo (well see)
Thx for the support and help on this one guys but its a lossing battle.So I raise my white flag.
The only good thing is that its only a zoo thing and not hurting any other livestock in my tank (althou the zoos where the main coral in my tank) :banghead:
Its time to think things over and what to replace my zoos with,I have alot a space.BUt have no idea what i what to replace them with.

Mostly all of them ,I dont think im going to put anymore zoo in my main tank for a bit,Nor buy them for a while.have to recover from this.I have some zoo left in my tank,They are pretty much stuck where they are.they dont have or i cant see any signs of the dot crap on them ,but ill do another 20gal WC tomorrow and see what happen
One thing i did notice is that FW dips with or without Lugols does nothing but make the infection worse.The tetracycline didnt do much.I have one colony left trying to save it.

sorry to hear about this Ronen! any time anybody has a crash it sucks.

this may be a shot the only thing you didnt try was Ozone.
maybe you should set up a QT tank with a small Ozone genrator?
