Anyone know a good website that sells the daylight plate assembly as one piece? I bought just the daylight plate flap but the stupid pin is stuck! I tried to hammer it out but it doesnt move.
i got my replacement daylight flap off ebay. A seller out of hong kong. both, lens and pin like 10 bucks shipped.

Hey Pierce,
Here's the pix with a tape measure for reference.
As you can see the slide width is tapered. The narrowest part is 11/16" and the widest part is 7/8".
The length from the first hinge pin to the end of the slide is 2".

Hey, speaking of which, is there any way to repair a refractometer that has the measuring line out of alignment? I purchased one and it is crooked.

No, that aligns the line to the calibration fluid level, this line is actually crooked, it doesn't run straight across the viewer.
