Sad but true I hope you don't mind Randy but I will use this quote in my Sig, it made me think.I remember when hobbyists never sold corals at all--strictly passed them on for the good of the hobby. I also remember when hobbyists would get colonies and actually let them grow and not chop them up until they were truly substantial in size and NEEDED pruning.
I tried a bowling frag swap once (I asked for Mr approval).... I laugh now because it didn't actually go through and I got all anal about it, even hated Ink for scheduling a boat trip on the same Day (freaking Don). How about a BBQ at a state park that allows for grill cooking. Instead of bringing coolers of drinks we bring coolers of Corals and Livestock. We accept donations for food and volunteers for clean-up.I would really encourage you to think outside the box, and develop innovative ways to push the boundaries of the hobby and put your own stamp on it, rather than follow the rest of the hobby.
sanjay.
About a year ago they had a table set up at pace showing us how to frag a brain coral, you should have seen us looking like kindergarten kids looking at a teacher holding a nice coloring Book.I would love a demo on how to frag zoas properly! I have gotten better yet still seem to get alot more glue on my fingers!
Sanjay, can I get a free clown also? I pay shipping? I have some frags to trade if your ever in the city? or you pay shipping?
i think enough has been said because it seems to me this thread is taking a down turn.
