Anyone have some advice for me, I have been burning through blades like crazy, and while they aren't the most expensive items to replace it would be nice to get more life out of them. I would prefer not using a steel wool and messing with the original edge of the blade.
I have read that people using knifes in saltwater, typically rinse off in freshwater, then wipe on a petroleum-based lubricant (or anti-rusting agent). I will definitely not be using a "petroleum-based lubricant" in the tank, but can anyone recommend another reef safe solution that will perform the same function. Thanks, Mike
