thanks Kris,
I can't take credit at all for the method, I'm just copying others.

Steve your going to have to look at my tank in a few weeks and give it a check-up :)

Dean, yes all the polyps are out for all the corals. now just three more weeks... and two more doses.

this morning while checking for bugs (none) I did see an amphipod running around.

I'm not sure he's going to survive the next two treatments.

awesome, seeing that corals polyps extended brought tears to my eyes.good job!!!make sure you continue to monitor your tank during the qt time as well, it would be awful to miss something and have to deal with the same problem (i'm sure you're already monitoring everything J, just in case though).

don't worry Jose all the acro are nice and happy,

and now that i have a 175 10K for them, thanks to kris, they may never want to leave the QT. :D

until they start getting to big.

so how long can I keep the QT set up and get away with it? any bets? :P

Great shots Jonathan. It brings a smile to my face to see those bugs die!! :D

It is amazing that the moment that the bugs die/disappear the SPS's polyps extend completely (something that I have also witnessed on infected SPS I have obtained). It is almost like a "sigh of relief" or a better analogy would be "a breath of fresh air".

I'm glad the bugs are gone. I had a twinge of guilt over killing them.
I guess you have to look at them like cancer or an other disease, just really big
germs to get rid of.

what exactly is the treament for those little bastards. I think I just noticed a few on a couple of my corals, but mine look more red, but really really tiny, bairly visible to the naked eye. I know I am supposed to use interceptor, but how long, how many treatments, how many pills per gallons etc..and should I take anything out of the tank that will be effected by it.

Thanks,
Frank
