'House' Fire

MR members, it's time to come together, as we always do, to say a prayer for Jim (house of laughter). Last night he and his beautiful family were enjoying a family night in front of their new Wii and enjoying a cozy fire, in the fireplace.

Apparently, the fire box did not contain the fire and he had a home fire where the fire department and emergency measures had to be put into place pronto.

HIS FAMILY IS OK, nobody got hurt. But there is considerable home damage, holes in walls, electrical, etc. Lets all send our prayers that everything will turn out ok........in time. As long as no lives were hurt, everything else can be repaired and replaced. The inconvenience to their lives are something time will heal and maybe some helping hands from our MR community.

Our prayers go out to our favorite House of Laughter.............

Thanks god everyone safe, every thing else doesn't matter.

If there is any good that you can take out of this is that it should send a signal to everyone here to look at their house/apt and make sure they don't have anything that may cause a fire, especially electric outlets around the fish tank. Also make sure all smoke detectors are in place and working.

Thank you everyone for all the prayers and well wishes to Jim. I'm in touch with him, continuously. At this time there is no need for everyone to stand around and drink beer watching the cleanup crew do their thing. Although that might work for Jim!

I just thank god for his family's safety. Amen.

To hear No one was hurt is a plus..... Russ don't strain yourself trying to help you still have some healing to do... Jim has more than enough hands here to help him Including myself I can go by Monday after work to help with anything and I am off thursday and friday to help rebuilt or run some errands or make good on some custom job clients... Keep us up to date Russ...

Thanks David. Your concern all the way around is heartwarming.
The phone/internet/cable company is there working as we speak. Maybe sometime this early evening he'll be able to reconnect with everyone and give the lo down from a first hand perspective.

Once again, I'm just thanking god his family is ok......NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.
