There is no deadline, you can even show up and pay at the door, however, the RSVP helps MR plan for food etc.appropriately as well as helps vendors prepare appropriately.

Not entirely true. We need to have everyone preregister so their name is on the list for the security booth. We are trying to work out something for people to pay at the door but don't have anything guaranteed yet.

If you plan on attending, RSVP as soon as possible!

All,

Confirming definitely makes it easier/easiest for processing with regards to security. This will not stop up from taking attendees at the door, but makes it worlds easier when you preregister.

That in mind, preregistration is preferred but we'll be able to take walk-ins - they'll just need to be checked in and given an MR ID for the event at the point of walk-in - just a little delayed at check in. Additionally, as Prattreef mentioned, it helps with food order, seating etc.
