J -JB Advanced Reefer Rating - 0% 0 0 0 May 8, 2003 #22 I just replaced my bulbs at the 12 month mark back in March. I decreased the lighting for 1 hour a day for about 5 days. Nothing bleached or had any problems. So I guess I would say no, I get the expected(at least for me) 1 year out of my MH bulbs.
