Yes all are on IC's. You will need to acclimate for sure. I raised the pendants way up ( at first not enough and several things started to bleach). I'm slowly lowering them an inch or 2 a week and everything is adjusting well. FWIW, I believe these lamps to be identical to the Giesmann Megachrome Coral 14K lamps and about $20 cheaper too. The inner construction of the bulbs is absolutely identical, I can't speak to the gases inside, but visually they look the same too.

Mike, I'm picking up a set of these from HOF tomorrow to run on my HQI ballasts. From what Jim tells me, they are not the same bulbs as you see in reeflightinginfo. Randy, Jim and I think Rich have all seen them in person and think they're much brghter than the Phoenix.

Randy,
Any idea of what photo period I should run? Currently running 7 hours with the Phoenix- no actinics. Also adding a set of actinics to these. Thanx.

Tony, i think the ushio 14k is only in 175 and 400watters. Maybe i'm wrong, but i just ordered 10k se ushios and i was looking for the 14k and saw them in only the wattages i listed.

I went with 10k Ushios. This is my first time trying them! Their par is pretty impressive!
