What did everyone see or buy this weekend at the LFS?

Topic says it all...what did you guys/ladies buy this weekend? I bought a slipper coral and a purple acropora. I am terrible at scientific names so forgive me.

I got a T. max! WOoooooo Hoooooo! A very nice 2" specimen, blue/green with black spots. He's really cool!!!

Got a red brain and a leather finger coral and 16 pounds of live rock to add to the others we already had.

By the way Tank, cup corals are one of my favorite

Well it was not at a LFS but one of my clients who once worked at a LFS.... He gave me his 135 gal tank and a solid oak tank! All I had to do was drive two hours round trip to pick it up and his taxes N/C for the next three years! Of course I have a lot of work to do….I told the wife I was planning on cleaning it up and selling it!!! “But Honey it is only one more tank and you know you want me to get a puffer…..” Wish me LUCK!


P.S. Myreef maybe I should have TWO becket tubes!!

I picked up a bottle of Novus 2 scratch remover. I am trying to get my new 60 gallon ready for fish. At the rate I am able to polish out scratches and the scuffs left behind by the Coraline, It may be a while before I have that tank up and running.

I went to Houston for the weekend to visit my in-law. I sold 7 SPS frags to the pet store and I came back with a pair of pink skunk clown and a Derassa that is the best I ever seen. It has very fine gold line, very clear and so numerous that it look solid gold from above. Too bad I got it for a friend of mine. I am thinking of let him keep mine and keep this new one.
I also have been looking for a pair of Pink Skunk for a long time. I saw this pair that look healthy, so I got it. All in all, it was a good trip.

Well the most recent stuff I got has been 2 cleaner shrimp. White capella, Yellow mumps leather. I also got a 4 inch clown mantis 2 weeks ago.

i forget the mane but my lfs hade one of the bicolor angels that has the blue ring around the eye

I went to a shop in the south of England, they had some very nice corals but all of their angels had lateral line & head. There were other fish that seemed to be in a similar sorry state, i left empty handed. I think it was just a case of the shop system being too new, and the fish added too quickly.

At Radio Shack I found an indoor/outdoor digital thermometer on clearance for 97 cents. That's right - less than a dollar. The two AA batteries cost more.

Well not this weekend but the last 2 weekends I returned all my hermits but 2. I purchased a sharpnosed puffer and a snowflake eel and 2 banggai cardinal fish. Johnny

A peppermint shrimp for my Aptasia. Traded off my sand sifting star, and sold a few purple gorgonian frags.
On the other hand, I just hooked up my new dual 250w MH w/ 6500k bulbs. Very nice looking to me. I only need to add just enough atinics to flouresce (sp?) some things.
All in all, a good weekend for me!

A new pump to replace the one of my two RIO's that died!

Then, guess what happened to my other RIO last night.....

I haven't even had it for a year, but of course, RIO's warranty only goes for 6 mos., not 9!
