What did everyone see or buy this weekend at the LFS?

Today was my weekend. (tues through sunday shows) I bought nothing for my tank! But today I did go to the Coney Island Aquarium. It was not as impressive as I thought.

It did, however, make me want to get my tank up and running sooner!! So tomorrow, I am getting up early to go into work and make my overflow, and two canopys for my 10 and 20 gals.

Then I went grocery shopping, and when I got home, I KICKED MY GF'S A$$ at Monopoly! The first time EVER! (I took some pics!)

The cool thing is the clam isn't attached to the eggcrate it is attached to a acro frag. Greg will probably throw it in for free but I will probably pay for it anyway. He gives such good deals sometimes that I feel guilty and tell he to make some money off me. He gave me a alkilinity test free last time I visited. It is his own home brew and works great. Basically it is HCL and ph sensative dye. When the buffer is exausted the dye changes color.

When are we boston reefers gonna meet again.

You may want to be aware of outlandishly colored soft corals such as colt as there have been reports of dyed soft corals being imported
Not meaning to rain on your parade just a heads up in case the thing is bubblegum pink or similar.

I've got myself a nice 90 gal!!! Set everything up already. Can't wait to start putting LR in it. Guess I wasn't the only person that went on a shopping spree this weekend

Here is a couple pics of the "special" clown. These pictures aren't very good, but the best I could get with my camera.

I don't know how well you can make it out, but he has a full band on his head, the second band only goes half way around, and there is NO third band.

Anyway he is a cool little guy, even if "genetically weak"

A huge colony of hairy green mushroom anenomes, must be 20 or more jam-packed on a rock base. They are big fat mothers each around 3 inches in diameter......looking great in my reef with a gentle bit of current flowing over them...did some bargaining at the LFS and got 'em pretty cheap too !!.
