Aiptasia help

Aquarium Village in Westbury area rents their Majano Wand Aiptasia and Majano Eliminator for something like $7 a day (plus a $100 deposit). It works well but sometimes you might have to hit the aiptasia more than once.

If your gonna kill of the rock you might as well bleach and acid bath them.

I think I am gonna just leave it out and let it die off. There are too many for the wand unfortunatley

Leave the rock in fresh water or leave it outside for a few days. I would still scrub it down afterwards with a stiff toothbrush. If you have other live rock in your tank I can't see how adding a piece of (dead rock now) is going to cause any kind of problem.

Its actuall $5 a day to rent the majano wand @ aqua village, with the deposit
Im returning it tomm. I just had a bad break out of Aiptasia myself.
Removed all the live rock soak em in lemon juice and rodi water, scrub them like 3x.
I had 100's of floating Aiptasia and bristle worms removed!
Now there going back in the tank tonight!
keep my finger cross!!

File fish guaranteed... i had an aptasia break out on my 55gal... file fish solved it!

There is no better remedy than the file fish. He will eat it all and it won't come back. Then it will eat your zoos but there is no easier fish to catch and then just sell it. Soaking or scrubbing rock is crazy talk.

Update. I left rock outside for almost 3 weeks. I let everything die off. I put rock back in. Its been almost 1 week and so far so good. Knock on wood. Thank you guys for the help.

looking into a file fish, copperband or pep shrimp if they come back and stay on top on em

I have had bad luck with peppermints and copperband eating my coral

I just got berghia nudist same problem bought rock on line but it came with pets.

you can get a syringe mix some r/o water and kalkwasser and inject them with it it will kill them instantely
