Folks, i'm not sure how everyone can say it's velvet? I haven't seen any clear description of symptoms nor pictures. I'm not saying it's not, but assuming it is without enough evidence can prevent proper troubleshooting. Not to mention that it could be something else which will affect any new additions and even the corals over the long term.
How are the remaining fish doing? Assuming any are left? Did you try quarantine for any of them?
